Dr. Mark Rowe MB BCH BAO MICGP DPDDCH LFOM (grad. - UCD)

Dr. Rowe has specialist training in General Practice(Family Medicine). In addition he has post graduate diplomas in Dermatology and Paediatrics. He also has a special interest in Occupational Medicine and is a qualified Licentiate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.  He is Regional PRO for the Irish College of General Practitioners. He is also a G. P. Trainer for the South Eastern General Practice Training Programme. He attends conferences and post graduate education courses regularly to keep up to date with the latest medical information. Dr. Rowe has a special interest in Mens Health and runs a mens health programme with an emphasis on prevention. Mark is  author of 'The Mens Health Book' which is available in bookstores nationwide. Dr. Rowe is medical advisor for the Irish Construction Workers Health Trust. He is also the team doctor for the Waterford GAA senior Inter county Hurling Team

Dr Ita Creavin MB BCH BAO MRCGP DCH MRCP DOBS CFP (grad. - UCC)

Dr. Creavin has training in both General Medicine and specialist training in General Practice. In addition she has Diplomas in Obstetrics and Pediatrics and a family planning Certificate. She has a specialist interest in Family Planning, Womens Health and the Menopause. She attends conferences in this area regularly. Dr. Creavin keeps up to date by attending CME (Continuing Medical Education) workshops run by the Waterford Faculty of the ICGP. She is also a G. P. Trainer for the South Eastern General Practice Training Programme.  Dr. Creavin is a volunteer GP at the SATU (Sexual Assault and Treatment Unit) at Waterford Regional Hospital.

Dr Marian Ryan MB BCh BAO MICGP,ABFP

Dr Ryan graduated in medicine from the  Royal College of Surgeons in 1989 and commenced specialized training in General practice in Dublin for three years . Following that she  went to the  United States gaining expertise  in Women’s Health, Minor skin procedures and Preventive Health Care .Special Areas of interest include Health Screening for men and women over 40, Depression, Work Stress and Poly pharmacy in the Elderly.  Her Practice Philosophy involves an open and empathetic approach to facilitate each patient to make an informed medical decision about their own health and the health of their families. She is a member of the Irish college of General Practitioners and the American Board of Family Medicine

Dr. Miriam Nugent MB BCH BAO MRCGP

Dr Nugent graduated from University College Cork Medical School in 1991. She trained in General Medicine at Cork University Hospital before moving to the UK to train and work as a GP for 10 years. She has special interests in Womens Health, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Stress/Depression and Prescribing.

Dr. Dolores Liddy MB Bch BAO MICGP DPD

Dr. Liddy graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2001 and completed her specialist training in general practice in the South East in June 2006.  She has a special interest in Womens Health and holds a certificate in family planning. Dolores has a special interest in Occupational Medicine and is a qualified Licentiate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine. She has also completed a diploma in practical dermatology in the University of Wales, Cardiff in 2005.  Dr. Dolores also has an interest in minor surgery.

Dr. Len de Villiers MB ChB, M Prax Med

Dr Len graduated at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. He also obtained his M Prax Med degree from the University of Pretoria. M Prax Med is a masters degree in general practice. He has vast experience in the management and treatment of all forms of diabetes and their complications. He also has years of surgical experience and expertise and performs minor procedures in the practice, including vasectomies. He is at present enrolled at the University of Cardiff to do a diploma in diabetes management.

Dr. Marina Vasileva MD , MRCPI, DPDerm., DME,DCH,CFP

Dr Marina is originally Russian and has worked in Ireland as a family doctor for several years. Dr Marina holds post graduate Diplomas in Medicine for the Elderly, Child Health and a certificate in family Planning. She has been trained as an Advanced Trauma Life Support  and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider. She also holds a post graduate diploma in Dermatology from Cardiff University and has a special interest in the area of clinical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology.

Now being run by Claire Bulfin, a Cuidiu antenatal teacher and midwife. Couples welcome. The 1 day weekend course including lunch covers all you need to know for the arrival of your new baby!  

Breastfeeding Support Group
Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the Month 10am -12noon. All welcome. Meet other breastfeeding mothers and enjoy refreshments from the on site cafe.
