Dr. Rowe has specialist training in General Practice(Family Medicine). In addition he has post graduate diplomas in Dermatology and Paediatrics. He also has a special interest in Occupational Medicine and is a qualified Licentiate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine. Mark is a G. P. Trainer for the South Eastern General Practice Training Programme. He attends conferences and post graduate education courses regularly to keep up to date with the latest medical information. Dr Ita Creavin MB BCH BAO MRCGP DCH MRCP DOBS CFP (grad. – UCC)
Dr. Creavin has training in both General Medicine and specialist training in General Practice. In addition she has Diplomas in Obstetrics and Pediatrics and a family planning Certificate. She has a specialist interest in Family Planning, Womens Health and the Menopause. She attends conferences in this area regularly. Dr. Creavin keeps up to date by attending CME (Continuing Medical Education) workshops run by the Waterford Faculty of the ICGP. She is also a G. P. Trainer for the South Eastern General Practice Training Programme. Dr. Creavin is a volunteer GP at the SATU (Sexual Assault and Treatment Unit) at Waterford Regional Hospital.
Dr Marian Ryan MB BCh BAO MICGP,ABFP
Dr Ryan graduated in medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1989 and commenced specialized training in General practice in Dublin for three years . Following that she went to the United States gaining expertise in Women’s Health, Minor skin procedures and Preventive Health Care .Special Areas of interest include Health Screening for men and women over 40, Depression, Work Stress and Poly pharmacy in the Elderly. Her Practice Philosophy involves an open and empathetic approach to facilitate each patient to make an informed medical decision about their own health and the health of their families. She is a member of the Irish college of General Practitioners and the American Board of Family Medicine
Dr. Miriam Nugent MB BCH BAO MRCGP
Dr Nugent graduated from University College Cork Medical School in 1991. She trained in General Medicine at Cork University Hospital before moving to the UK to train and work as a GP for 10 years. She has special interests in Womens Health, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Stress/Depression and Prescribing.
Dr. Marina Vasileva MD , MRCPI, DPDerm., DME,DCH,CFP
Dr Marina is originally Russian and has worked in Ireland as a family doctor for several years. Dr Marina holds post graduate Diplomas in Medicine for the Elderly, Child Health and a certificate in family Planning. She has been trained as an Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider. She also holds a post graduate diploma in Dermatology from Cardiff University and has a special interest in the area of clinical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. Since joining the practice Marina has taken up the role of Senior Clinical Lecturer with the University Of Limerick Graduate Medical School.
Dr. Paul Campbell MB BCH BAO LFOM MRCGP
Paul graduated in 2004 from Queens University Belfast.
Since graduation Paul has worked in emergency medicine and general practice in Northern Ireland. He commenced his GP training in the Mater Hospital in Belfast completing this in 2009.
Paul is experienced in all areas of chronic disease management with special interest in palliative care medicine and end of life care. Paul is also trained in minor surgery and the provision of joint injections.
Paul holds a Certificate in Essential Pallative Care and has commenced a diploma in Occupational medicine as well as developing his knowledge base in sports and exercise medicine to further strengthen the practice team in these areas.
Paul has completed his LFOM in Occupation health and also has recently completed a certificate in Diabetes management in general practice.
Dr Hebat Seiam MBBch,EFP, MICGP, LFOM, ADVANCED CERTIFICATE IN LONG ACTING REVERSIBLE CONTRACEPTION (ICGP)
Hebat Graduated from Cairo university where she trained in General Medicine and Gynecology before she moved to Ireland over a decade ago.
She has a special interest in women’s health, endocrinology and occupational health.
Dr Hebat also holds a diploma in occupational medicine in association with the ICGP and Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. She has been with the Practice since 2010.
Dr. Paul O Hara MB BCH BAO, IMRCS MICGP
Paul Graduated from University College Dublin in 2005 and worked as an Intern for a year in the Mater Hospital in Dublin.After internship he completed Basic Surgical Training based out of University College Hospital Galway and rotated through the major surgical specialties.
He worked lecturing medical students for 6 months and as a registrar in Emergency Medicine in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin before commencing vocational training in General Practice on the South East General Practice training Scheme.
Paul is experience in all areas of Acute and Chronic Disease care.
He is the clinical lead for Diabetes care in the practice and is a member of the Local Waterford DIGP( a voluntary group set up by local GPs with an interest in improving Diabetes Care in the local community).
Paul has a special interest in Paediatrics, Mental Health, and Mens health. Paul carries out Minor Procedures and Joint Injections. Paul also helps to train medical students from the University of Limerick.
Dr Aileen Collins MB Bch BAO DRCOG MICGP
Aileen graduated from University Hospital Galway in 2007. Since graduation aileen worked in general medicine before completing specialist training in general practice.
She has special interest in womens health and travel medicine.
She is currently completing a Licentiate in Occupational Medicine in association with the ICGP and Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
